See your life insurance price before you talk to anybody.
Pick an amount and a number of years. The prices show up side by side.
You're here because somebody depends on your paycheck. A spouse, kids, a mortgage in Idaho Falls that doesn't pause for anything.
Here's term life insurance, the whole product. You pick an amount and a number of years. If you die inside those years, the company pays that amount to the people you name. The price is set the day it starts and doesn't move.
The form below asks your name, your birthday, and a few questions about your health. Then it shows you what several life insurance companies would charge, side by side. If you don't know where to start, start with $500,000 for 20 years. That's the number I run for my own clients. Change it and the prices change while you watch.
What that price is and isn't: it's preliminary, based on what you type in. The company sets the final number after the application, and sometimes asks for a quick exam. It can come in lower. It can come in higher. Nothing is bought until you've seen the final number and signed.
Already have a policy through work? Good. Keep it. It's usually one or two years of pay, and it ends the day the job does.
Why now and not next year: life insurance is priced off your age. Every year older, the number goes up.
No obligation.

P.S. If your auto and home are with Auto-Owners, text me before you fill this out. Auto-Owners discounts the auto and the home when the household has a life policy with Auto-Owners Life, and that company isn't in this form. I'll run it both ways and show you.
